NYC from the Holga - Part 1

Packing

Got my first set of negatives back from my Holga today. These are from NYC and Philly, I have a lot more to put up but I’m going to scan them in College as my scanner is SHOCKING and about 10 years old. So expect some updated versions soon as these look dark and dirty. If you want to see more photos from NYC check out this link - http://tprkr.com/tagged/new_york/

NYC - Day 4

Day 4 was an ultra long day as It included a visit to Philly! Here is what went down…

Jumped on the metro, then on the staten island ferry and went over to meet Al before gathering everyone together to drive to Philly.

We set off to Philly only getting held up once when we decided it was a good idea to drive along with both side doors open and play Kendama out of them - worked out a treat!

Arrived in Philly after a couple of hours and chilled at Neglected Truth with Majette and co before skating the box to loosen up our legs from the drive. Mikey with the 270 farv.

First real spot - secret spot, which is amazing! Even if I did hit my balls and fall from just being tired and lazy. Came though in the end - as did Anthony Sereni with some bad ass tricks as seen above.

Al and the others went back to Majettes to crash, myself Rickay, Nemo, Gary and Cory remained and went to one of the best spots I have ever skated - Penns Landing ledges. What a treat… would have been there all night if gary didnt have triple A cover who came to save the day and get Rickayyys keys out of the car which he locked in there haha.

Late night roll around the city centre was amazing, chilled, skated and just took some snaps. Here is city hall.

Love

The famous Love Park - one of my favorite photos I have taken on the trip.

Cody, Rick and Nemo in the city centre.

Rick kindly let me stay at his alongside Cory and Nemo after we dropped Gary off. Had a mattress and air conditioning and got the best nights sleep since I got to the USA. Rickayyy seriously made this trip to Philly. After a good nights sleep we jumped in the car and drove to Ubiq on Walnut - Rios wasnt about unfortunatly but I got some fresh garms, kicks and hung with Daveeeee Blair for a moment before we went off to meet everyone for some more skating.

Back to Neg Truth to meet everyone.

West Philly High with Jon Ortiz.

Alf being brilliant.

Killgore - Top Torque Soul

Killgore swagging out for the camera.

Everyone chilling - Shuda, Killgore, Anthony, Alf, Selwin, Meatwad and many more.

Last photo I snapped before jumping back on the train to NYC - Jimmy Shuda with a topsoul to 180 out up the rail. So sick, comeback time!

Thanks to everyone from Philly especially Rickayyy. Also thanks to Al and all the guys for driving me down and meeting up. One of the best times I have had - can’t wait to come back!

One day left, It’s Saturday night now and I am about to go and see Mike Slott, Eliot Lipp and Skream at the Knitting Factory - more to come tomorrow…
